| Amity Brawl Site Rules For the good of everyone on Amity Brawl, please make sure to conform to the following rules and guidelines: Don't Be Mean - Be nice to everyone else on the forum and make sure to show them the proper respect that they deserve. Be Careful What You Post - Please recognize that certain material, including inappropriate images and offensive language, is prohibited on Amity Brawl. Always take a second and consider how other people might interpret what you post, and try your best to avoid offending anyone. Stay With the Program - Try to stay on the topic of a given thread. A few little off topic posts here and there are ok, but excessive off topicness will be removed in order to maintain the Forum's sense of organization. Don't Spam or Advertise - You should all know what spamming is. It's when you post random stuff to annoy other people. Don't do this, because it's annoying and prevents legitimate posts/topics from being seen. Also, as alluring as it may be, please do not advertise in your signature or any posts. There's a place in your profile for you to link to your site, and that's the only place advertising of any kind is allowed. Be Fair - Don't try to cheat the system, or hack the site, or in anyway try to unfairly gain an advantage over someone else. This also means that you're limited to only one account per person, and any duplicates will be deleted. Follow the ZB TOS - The ZetaBoards Terms of Service and the rules and regulations stated with in it are just as important, if not more so, to follow as the other Amity Brawl rules. Breach of the ZB TOS could result in the instant and permanent banning of your account. Please read the ZB TOS carefully in order to ensure such things do not happen. Each person's account has what's called a Warning Level. This is simply a method of measuring how many rules you've broken. The higher your warn level the worse you are. There's no set limit for how many rules you can break before you get banned, or for how long you'll be banned. It's all managed on a case by case basis, in order to ensure things are fair. However, what ever the staff says goes, so please don't argue about bans or penalties. Generally, if you mean well and only make a few careless mistakes here and there, you'll never get banned, so if you do get banned it's probably for a very good reason. You are responsible for following these rules at all times, and for checking them frequently for changes. If you have any questions about any of the rules and guidelines posted here please just PM DataWizard or post your question on the Site Support Board. |
