My brother got a Wii for his birthday last year, we bought some games with the money we had, but this was the case long time back. Now, we were thinking of buying some good games, so I thought of asking some people to have some good suggestions as it would be better to have some suggestions from someone who has really played the games than trusting the statistics shown by the company.

For any audience, most games that are made by Nintendo are good, so definitely look into Mario, Metroid, Zelda, etc. depending on what kinds of games you like. As for second and third party games, I might recommend The Conduit if you like action/FPS games. It's pretty good for a hardcore third party title (definitely better than any half-baked party game). |

I second the Conduit. Its a decent fps with online play and using the wii speak if you play a friends match. Also, theirs Fire Emblem, a wonderful rts :3 |

I third the Conduit, its one of the best FPS i've seen for the Wii and the multiplayer is actually kinda addicting. Metroid is good, but a word of caution, there isn't much dialogue in the game. zelda is great for adventure goers, but might not go so well if you just want quick bursts of gaming time mario galaxy is good all around, but i think it lacks story its important to know what types of genres you like. which ones do you prefer? |

Trauma Center is a very unique game, it's basically about surgery and it's very fun. Although, I wouldn't advise it if you don't like non-fighting games (technically, you're fighting diseases), blood, or you have very low patience and get nervous easily. Fire Emblem is one of my favorite games from the Nintendo franchise. It's a strategic RPG that requires you to move your 'units' or players, to attack the offending units. I like to think of it like a board game, but way more fun. Okami is a Japanese themed video game about the sun-god who came back reincarnated as a wolf of legend to save the land from darkness once again. It's graphics are plain beautiful and the gameplay is very unique. It's a very high rated game. If you need any more suggestions, you're welcome to ask. :3 |

If you don't mind a game with a little crudity and an M rating, No More Heroes is a good bet. Fun hack n' slash action. |
