What's the best Movie of all time? After having just seen it, I must put in my vote for Avatar. It's a fully engulfing movie that actually made the movie theatre around me seem like the illusion when the lights came on, because for the duration of the movie I was in Pandora. It's incredibly imaginative, with great graphics and an awesome storyline to guide the experience.

I haven't seen Avatar yet but I'd have to say Lord of the Rings. The books were amazing and so were the movies. |

Avatar WAS amazing, but....eh. Not the best of all time. I'll have to say Forrest Gump. From beginning to end, its a touching, amazing film. |

Choosing the best movie of all time can be a subjective thing, as people have different criteria. One may consider one's favorite to be the best. Anyways, for me, the films I liked the most were original Star Wars trilogy and Across the Universe. |

The Dark Knight was an amazing movie, I loved the soundtrack on Pirates of the Caribbean...I don't know if I have a specific favorite - I tend to like movies in general. |

I didn't like Avatar that much.. It was kind of too long and I got bored after a while. Then again, I didn't see it in 3D, but I value plot much more than graphics. I'm not much of a movie fan in general, but I got to agree with Juggernaut that The Dark Knight was an amazing movie. Edited by Zorg, Feb 12 2010, 07:03 PM.

I'll admit, I did see Avatar in 3D, but I really don't think it was necessary. But I think the thing about Avatar is it had a nice plot, but that wasn't all there was to it. The environment and imagination put into the movie really brought you into their world, and I think the enjoyment and exploration of that world is what really impressed me and kept me hooked, even when the plot stalled a few times during the lengthyness of the film. |
