This is the final book in the 20 book series. The events in this story are based off a true story. Use of usernames in this story are to protect the true identity of multiple people who wish to remain anonymous. PROLOUGE: It was three years ago when I picked up that muffin. And it changed my life. Now there is a war over it. Lives have been lost. Fights have been won. All with one goal - get to the power source of the cookies. The power source, filled with deep evil, can only be purified by the Muffin power source. Now here is something you need to know. The Muffin power source creates crystals we use to power our army. Each person gets a crystal. These - these are our lifeline. They say only a true muffin can survive without the crystal. Chapter One: And now it is time for the final war. I exit the DMZ into the war field. I dodge rockets, lasers, and shots. I make a dash to the crystal while the army protects me. I hold me crystal tight, and finally reach the power source of the cookies. It's... Nothing like ours... Unlike our huge crystal, theirs is a huge computer. Neon blue, red and green lights over the dark iron. Large, 5-feet-thick wires connect to multiple parts of this machine. Each, 10 feet wide 7 feet tall screen is like a giant command prompt. "Hello young warrior... From the muffins side, I presume?" Says a silhouette, standing in front of the large device. "Who - Who the hell are you?!?" I ask, with an odd distortion to my voice. "There are two ways you will exit this world..." The darkened voice says as a haze starts to form. "Through the destruction of me, my computer and my fleet..." A thick, dark-purple miasma force-field of sorts surrounds us. "Or in a body bag." "I repeat. Who the HELL are you?!?" I ask with an even thicker distortion to my voice. "The fight over muffins and cookies, not as necessary as we need it to be. As we all know this is a useless, raging path of destruction that will ultimately end in the destruction of all delicious treats... And muffins. Ah yes... That "M" word... I loathe it... Let us not use it, hmm? But now lets view your purpose on this world. To save the... M word? Hah! You are as in-significant as the rest of your tired fleet. One cookie warrior could defeat 8 times the amount of your fleet. You might as well not be here in the first place... But, you did come this far. I think a fair fight is in order. But this is hardly fair, is it? A Cookie Leader versus a... M-Word Troop... Hah!" "More than a mouthful is a waste." "True that." "Now... Tell me who the hell you are so I can tell your Cookie Fleet who just got killed." "Me? I am the DataWizard." |
